Please note that there will be limited Liver Pathology services available on the Spring Bank Holiday Monday as follows:

Monday 27th May:
IDM Lab
will provide a limited service for immunosuppressive drug measurement.

All services will resume as normal on Tuesday 28th May

Purpose of Test: The anti-HBc IgM assay is used for the qualitative detection of IgM antibody to hepatitis B core antigen (anti-HBc IgM) in human serum and plasma and is indicated for use as an aid in the diagnosis of acute or recent hepatitis B viral infection
Method: Abbott ARCHITECT: automated chemiluminescent microparticle immunoassay (CMIA)
Minimum Sample Requirements: 200μL serum/EDTA Plasma
Limit of Detection (LOD)/RANGE OF QUANTITATION: N/A
